Well, while I've been waiting for parts for my compressor, I've been doing some productive things in the shop. I actually cleaned up a bit, finished my flight line starting box and am about 1/2 done with a new PA design. Howard Rush stopped by yesterday and got a look at it. In typical fashion he just shook his head and wondered aloud where I came up with these weird ideas. It's a new elliptical plane with some pretty spidery structure and a radial cowl. Should be interesting.

Ty,
na#
It's based on a sort of fanciful version of a 30s air racer. I think that the cool points will be off the chart.

I want to see this one! talk about swinging the pendulum for design style. I have to go with Pat though, I want to see this.

Bill,
Well, I gave up waiting for parts for my compressor and am just going to go out and buy on today. Then I can finish the Cobra and the new PA plane that is all framed up, then we'll see.

You would think at the price of shipping these days that they could get you parts a little faster. Or are the politicians get a cut of the shipping costs? HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~>

It's not the shipping that's so expensive, Leo...it's the storage. And then you have to pay more tax on stuff that's being stored, than on stuff that's being shipped. This makes a lot of sense. Easier to tax it when it's just sitting there, like a Gummint Man. LL~ Steve
