I didn't really find a more suitable place to ask this, so here it goes..

I'm starting a new build, a Hole Shot by Bob Hunt.. it'll sport a scale-ish paint scheme, and I would really love to use a J Roberts throttle setup. Anyone who has already done it could explain how to better route the linkage?? I've never used one in any type of model.

I've set up plenty of them.

It takes some finesse to get three leadouts, the updown pushrod and the throttle push rod not to interfere with each other. You just need to fiddle with it. I advise that you fiddle with it early in the process.

1. Get the elevator to work right.
2. Get the throttle to work right.

There are two modes of operation. The accepted proper mode is to pull the trigger for high speed. I have set them up the other way and I still have a goofy foot model that works. But you will be MUCH better off with PULL-for-high.

I recall seeing one intrepid club member try to loop a Midwest Warbird of some sort. I can't recall if it was a "figure 9" or just a near crash. But it wasn't pretty; I remember that much.
