Title: Hawthorn Flying Wires
Post by: Avaiojet on November 26, 2015, 06:36:49 PM
Well, not really Hawthorn Flying Wires, but similar none the less.

Thought the photos would get more views here in the Building techniques than over at Scale Models.

Not a bad rendition for the time invested and the model is just sport scale.

Carl,

Thanks for the reply, scale has few replies.

I built this model when I was active in R/C, that lasted quite a few years. I always had interest in the Gee Bee's and this was the smallest one I built. Roughly 1/5 scale at 59".

I no longer do R/C and don't miss it, soooooooooo, If I'm going to fly this model, it had better be a CL model.

CL rules!!  LL~

Don't know if that's true or not, but I felt good saying it.

The ARGO was a hit, I did the color and clear there.  LL~

Thanks again for the reply.

Oh! BTW. I expect to fit this Gee Bee Z with an R/C tank. Never should have gotten rid of some of my R/C stuff.

Thanks again for the reply.
