This came to mind the other night. Curious if anyone had tried this on a open structure.

I designed and built a whole series of RC foamies with airfoiled wings with a depron skin. (the AirfoilZ line by 3DX). Most were about 42 inch wing span. The depron is a great material but like all foam, the surface dings easily.
