I'm feeling quite talkative tonight , so here goes
Another question concerniong Brodak's "Oriental" ...
The plans show the flap horn ( elevator horn , as well ) as a pre-bent wire , without any bearings to hold it securly to the wing trailing edge .
I've noticed in some RSM kits , that the flap horns are left to be bent by the modeller after the nylon (?) tubes are installed on the horn , which in turn are secured to the wing trailing edge by cloth hinge tape .
I'd like th flap horn on my Brodak kit to be secure as possible , so I'm begging for some ideas
I will use barrel hinges throughout the kit an was wondering if notching the leading edge of the flaps (at the hinge location) to close the flap / wing gap is a good idea ?
Thanks a bunch !
