. . . with PolySpan. One piece per panel, and only a few wrinkles/darts/whatever. I believe I'm gonna like this stuff!
The kit is a John Lowry Stuka; power will be an MVVS 2.5 Diesel. The one on the stand is swinging a 9-6 at 10,200 rpm after only 10 minutes of runtime!
I had intended to finish with KlassCoat, but I may just leave it in Nitrate Clear. I plan to double-cover the wing with more silkspan.; might save a couple of ounces. Silkspan and 4 coats of clear on the fuselage and tail. Needs sanding and another few coats of clear . . .

Honest to gosh, Wes, the only McCoys I ever owned were about a half-dozen of the RV Redheads. A couple of friends tried (and promptly ruined) them back in the late '50s - early '60s, and I decided they were a PoS engine and never bought one. If I'd known then what I do now, I'd have been a bit more forgiving and realized it was the fault of the modeler, not the engine.
That Sharkbat was a pretty good Slow Combat/Stunt Trainer, wasn't it? H-m-m, wonder if Lew still has plans . . .
