Has anyone tried the new Elmer's two part epoxy wood filler for fillets?
If so, how did it do?

No but I used 30 minute epoxy and it worked great. It made about 1/16" radius fillets. I'm told a second coat would make 1/8" fillets. Flows out real nice. Never heard of Elmers 2 part epoxy wood filler. If you get some positive replies I'll look for some.

Sounds good Jerry......When using epoxy as you did, we need to make sure the wing to fuse joint is tight. If there is any gaps or pin holes in the joint the epoxy will tend to migrate thru these small openings leaving dips or areas where the epoxy is not even, kind of a bear to repair once it sets up. Filler that is thicker like Aeropoxy or Super Fill or epoxy with microballoons is a safer way to go as it will not travel when you turn your back and they are easier to sand than straight epoxy so the paint will get a good grip on the fillets.
