Post by: Bootlegger on April 25, 2016, 04:45:10 PM

What size and where did you get the f/glass push rods that you use? I am thinking about something with about 1/8" inside dia.

 Sure could use some suggestions..

The carbon fiber push rods that I use had been coming from an archery shop that sells "rebuildable" arrows for $1 a pop.  Lately, my LHS has been stocking them for about $4 a pop, but it doesn't require going 50 miles out of my way.

You can purchase CF pushrods from Stunt Hanger Hobbies, AND the metal fittings that attach to the ends.

Darrol Cady has been supplying the R/C Pylon guys with carbon rods for quite a few years now.  He has everything you need for 4-40 pushrods.   http://www.darrolcady.com/Carbon_Fiber/carbon_fiber.htm
