I was going through my plans, looking for something when I noticed I have like 5 different sets of various Epiphany versions. Weird that.

It's a nice design. Have fun.

Mike,

That's a beautiful airplane and a really special looking wing.

Will your model be a profile or built up fuselage?

Mike,

Is there anything I can do change your mind and convince you to build this model with a built up fuselage?

Randy I contacted Pat and he cut me a short kit and a set of plans.  The wing is a little complicated.  Not something I would recommend for a beginner builder.

Stay safe out there in the great Northwest.  New Orleans has really been bad.

Having built a few elliptical wings, I understand.

Stay safe, my friend.

  Mike ,
I'd be interested in what you're using for the rods you use to align your ribs.

John those are 5/16" Aluminum Easton Arrow shafts.  I bought them from 3 Rivers Archery if I remember correctly.  The jig itself, I made.

Mike,

Nice work. Really nice actually.  H^^

The airfoil, is it according to the plans? Really a great looking model, do you know what year this model was designed?

Thank you Charles.  Yes I built the plane exactly to the plan.  I have no idea when Pat Johnston designed the plane.  He has several versions of it including a full fuselage version.

I'm considering building just the wing.  Then it will hang, uncovered, on my wall.  A piece of modern art.
89 years, but still going (sort of)

Hi Floyd,

It is a pretty shape.  It is not an easy  wing to build but the finished product is attractive.
