I am looking specifically any 1/2a build threads along the lines of electric  1/2a magician or similar.
Though I would not turn down a decent full-sized build thread for a profile electric.
I have tried looking at in all the forums and while i found a few (sv12 i think) and a few other threads I would like to see more. Especially photo heavy threads.
I have tried the search but if anybody can point some out I would appreciate it.

If you put a plus sign in front of a word in the search line then the search engine will only take posts that have that word in it.  You can do it with multiple words -- I just did a search on

  +electric +profile +build

You may also want to go into the "Gettin all Amp'ed up" section and just do a search on "profile", or maybe "profile pictures" (I'd do it with plus signs, so you don't get all the threads with the word "pictures" in them).  Somewhere in that section there's at least one thread where someone asked for pictures of battery and motor mounting; there's lots of ideas in that one, some of which would be useful for small planes.

While you're in there, go through the "List Your Setup".  There should be pictures of lots of planes, many of which will be profiles.
