Best CA Nozzle
« on: July 24, 2014, 06:26:35 PM »
What kind of bottle tip or nozzle do you like for not clogging up when working with CA glue. BTW the one that comes on the Great Planes bottle I consider the worst. Lots of building time wasted today dealing with that pos.

I like the Mercury bottle. It has a big hole with a pin in the cap and you press on tips that can be soaked in acetone later.

I'm a huge fan of pipettes.  I get mine either at the Toledo Show each year or from Stewart McDonald luthier supplis.

I like the Hobbico CA glue applicator tips. (Tower Hobbies) They work best for me. I cut the last 1/4 inch off if it clogs.  Plenty of tubing to cut if necessary.  Easy to remove & replace with a new tip if needed.  They deliver a nice small controllable drop.
