Besides modelling I used to do a lot of work with wooden boats and used Titebond quite a bit along with a lot of West System epoxy. Both were staples in shops for projects that I worked on. The "Original" Titebond which is pale yellow in color is an "Aliphetic Resin" glue. Another that modellers use is the old SIG Bond glue. The Titebond II glue is a "Polyvinyl Acetate" glue and is just a strong and seems to dry a bit faster. It is also water soluable like the original Titebond. The newest offering is Titebond III which is a "proprietary polimer" glue. I've never used it but judging by Titebond past quality, I'm sure it is a good product but not sure about modellers needs.
