Title: Elevator Travel on Brodak Vector 40
Post by: Warren Leadbeatter on July 30, 2006, 06:41:29 AM
Hi All,

I'm building a Vector 40 at the moment and a couple of people have told me that it doesnt appear to have enough elevator angle at full up and full down.  I've set it up as per the plans so I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue?  That is, if it is an issue... see pics.

I have now put the rear/elevator pushrod into the hole closest to the elevator to get a bit more travel.  I had to cut a hole in the fuselage to access it... lucky I havent done the paint job yet.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Cheers

You have plenty of movement.

I agree with the above, you have more than enough movement in that elevator.  Just make sure the flaps don't move more than the elevator.  I had a Ruffy that only had 30 degrees of movement and it was sensitive.  The Thirteen I have been playing with only has about 15 degrees.  Later,  DOC Holliday
