Can anyone post a photo of their flap setup on one of Don's stunters he designed?

I would post a picture, but it would not show much.   Just study the plans real good.  It was not that hard to do the boxes for the wire legs.  Maybe someone else will have picture. H^^

I dont have the plans Doc, I am trying to find the information out for one who is not on these stunt forums. At one time I thought Don's plans were posted on here.

Try the search function, and stroll through the photo gallery. I think there were several build threads through the years of several models and there should be photos. The plans were originally available through Don, and he gave permission to some one on here to keep offering him. Don just passed away a week or so ago, so you will have to find the other source. I think Don had a son, and I don't know if he would be involved or not. But there should be some photos on the forums here.
  Type at you later,

"Lucky boxes" for search term might help.

The late Lucky Pyatt devised an "easy" way to join two sections with different hinge axes. "No" friction... no bending resistance... can be absolutely free from slop. Works for,  say, root and outer section moving "flap-type" surfaces, even if joining hingelines with both dihedral and planview differences.

Hmmm... anyone for an F4U corsair?

Chris Mullinex did a Corsair.  Full span flaps.  He was an expert machinist and a really good pilot.  Made his own universal joints for the airplane.  I do not remember what they looked like, but these were different from anything I had ever seen.  Virtually no slop in the flap movement.  Airplane flew very well.  Amazing!!!

Mullinex corsair:

Note that it has a LOT of dihedral angle in the joint that Keith is talking about.
