Gents,
This is a method I use to cut trailing edges. I put the math in just so you can see how it's done. You may choose to use a protractor etc. or if you already have a piece and just want to make more, then you can eye ball the settings of the saw by holding the original in place while adjusting the saw.
Bill and others; if you don't have a saw, I'm sorry you will have to find a buddy with one, buy one, or just sand, plane or carve. You may also buy the ready mades at a hobby store. <=
For those of you with access to a table saw you may find this interesting or maybe not.
These measurements closly approximate the Sterling Ringmaster (S1)
I really dislike sanding dust and am aware of other methods this is just my prefered method.
When it's too cold to go out to my unheated shop I can accurately plane a trailing edge and may post this method later.
Since this is a Ringmaster trailing edge I guess I better post it on The Brotherhood of the Ring also. y1
