Building DVD's ?
« on: October 21, 2007, 08:50:21 PM »
Hi ,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any building DVD's ?
I have one from Bob Hunt (building I-beam wings) and it's very informative .

Thanks :)

Hi,

I have purchased load s of Windy Urtnowski  tapes and dvds  a huge source of information on building and finishing.

Bob Hunts are excellent also , Al Rabe also has some fantastic tapes available on building and finishing.

I highly recommend any of these you will  learn a ton of things well worth the price you pay.

Rob: Go to Windy's web site he'll have a few listed, then email him and tell him what you want. He usually gets back fairly soon and will tell you what he has and a price. He usually includes a bonus tape or two, I feel there about the best, in plain english and loads of info. What are you looking for anyway ?

Hi Rob,

I have not seen any of Al's so I cannot comment on those.

Between Windy's and Bob hunt's, there is a definite difference.  Windy's are like home movies done well.  A lot of talking and explaining with other stuff thrown in too.  All in all a lot of information is passed on.

Bob's have been more production style.  Like a TV series.  A lot of info and great presentations.

Bob has not produced as many as Windy, but you have to ride along a while with Windy to get there.  Either ones will give you a lot of info, just a matter of preference.

HA HA. Not only are Windys like home movies, but on one of them I got to actually watch paint  dry, for 45 minutes, while he was on the phone. It was a free video, so no complaints, just an observation.  #^ LL~ H^^

I truly believe the "secret of Jimmy Hoffa" is buried some where in Windy's videos! **) **) **)
