The set up that suits my flying style and comfort for a stunt plane is very slow controls, meaning a significant amount of input from the handle for a small amount of control surface movement, which is achieved by longer control horns (at least one inch) and larger bell cranks (four inches) and using the connection point on the bell crank (if more than one) furthest from the pivot point.  I use the same amount of flap deflection as elevator for an even one to one ratio.  Some may argue with this set up, but it works for me, anyway, this is achieved by using the same length horn on the flaps and the elevators at the same connection points.  If you want more elevator deflection than flap, then use a shorter horn on the elevator.   Then there is this logarithmic flap control system used by some of the best builders and fliers, but I need a few more years of building and flying before I go that route.  Hopes this helps.

From your drawing, bellcrank "C" to flap horn "I" then flap horn "H" to elevator horn adjustable between "L" and "K" with handle spacing 3-3/4".

My bellcrank "C" would be 11/16" btw.

P.S. Don, the push rod hole farthest from the bellcrank pivot makes the controls faster.
