32.00 Portable Saw Table
« on: September 16, 2009, 12:00:54 PM »
I built this saw table for my new scroll saw for a parts total of 32.00, the paint I had on hand and the screws for putting together.

2    2X4X8's
2    1X4X8's
1    2X12X8
4    locking 2" wheel assy. 3/8" washers and nuts

It took longer than it looks to cut and assemble, but what the hey I'm on vacation this week. The Sears Craftsman shop light just clamps on so it's possition is adjustable, and I like being able to move the table where ever I want. Now I'll build another one for my band saw (sometime).

Looks strong and stable, which are important. If the height is adjustable, you might try raising the rear of the machine by screwing out the casters. This often improves access, especially if you're doing more than a few pieces.

(Too many irons; not enough fire)
