"SCARF" under construction, New Pics 2/5
« on: January 29, 2007, 03:45:35 PM »
Since this is building season and other projects are in the finishing stages, well what the hey. I'm combining a Tutor II ARF wing and a scratch built Mustang profile that Allen Brickhaus had in FM with a foam wing. I've de ARF covered the wing and put a 4" bellcrank in with the weight box to follow. Everything else will be made from the plans. Tentative power will be an Aero Mag GP 40 stunt, and will dope and silkspan everything. I will use C/F pushrods and ball links.

Thanks Steve: The FM plans for the Stang are CF-904 also Acetone took all the glue and left over covering off the wing with ease.

MY Tutor II waas finished late last fall, haven't flown it yet.I doubt it will take the punishment that my Skyray has.I did 4 touch n go's in 1 flight, talk about over control.the only damage was bent gear and a busted prop.
