Title: Hubin timer with retract option
Post by: Skip Chernoff on February 20, 2018, 07:19:21 PM
Dennis does Brodak sell the Hubin timer with retract option? If so,what is the product code #? If not, where can I get such an item?
Also would this timer use the standard Hubin programmer? Thanks,PhillySkip

Skip,
I am not Dennis, but you can get the retract Hubin timer directly from Will.  If you have access to a Stunt News, he advertises there.  If you do not have access to one, I can PM or email you contact info.
Regards,
john

Hi Skip
Brodak will be adding the FM-9 Timer system, anticipated delivery the week of 26-March.  Brodak will be offering the FM-9 Programmer, the FM-9 Timers, with and without remote start switch, and the FM-9 Retract Timer.  In addition, Will has updated the FM-9 Programmer to include direct RPM settings for the Brodak F2B Hornet ESC's (now available in 40A & 60A) and the programmer will have the Retract subroutines built in.

BTW, if you have an older FM-9 Programmer, you can talk to Will about updating it for the F2B Hornet and Retract options.

Brodak is making other changes: the FM-Hornet timer will see a price cut and there will be a new version available with the RPM Fine Adjust on the board rather than on a remote pot.  This version should be an easier install on Profiles and should also work on a full fuselage version IF the Timer is mounted in an easy to access position.

Thanks Dennis for the info. I contacted Will Hubin and he sent me the chip for the programmer and I bought an FM9 timer. He was great to deal with. Just want to let you know I do buy a lot of Brodak supplies and kits ,but I go thru John Saunders who is my local Brodak dealer. Can't wait for this year's flyin ,Cheers,Skip
