This senior moment thing
« on: March 05, 2007, 08:39:54 PM »
I keep hearing this thing about having a senior moment. Seeing I don't like to use excuses I have analized this statement several times and according to my wife it is a mith. She says to me she says"you just don't listen"thats when I am thinking it's about time to stop listening.
  Now for the sake of my grandchildren I don't want them to get the wrong impression about my senelity. So I ask her to keep the volume down. I sat around for a couple of day till I finnaly realised she was right. I could mask all this at work by asking my boss if he really wanted this paper cut this certain size and he would tell me the size again. Olay!
 I have had a lot of thinks happen that I have blamed onto my SENIOR MOMENT But I now realise that sometimes I don't listen to myself. Does all of this make any sense or am I just being silly about nothing? Cant I just blame this on Shultzie?

Leo--Leo--Leo

    Yes Leo you can blame it on "SHULTZIE" but at 168 yrs old "HE IS A LIVING "SENIOR MOMENT" so what have you gained?

PS On the serious side (did I just say that) there is nothing wrong with you , you are not being silly, we just think about these things more than the young pups out there. Heck I'm a little younger than you and I feel the same way. OK

I do a little of that bouncing around too, but I don't think that has a lot to do with the brain. I pay for it whenI get home for now it's Alieve time. I worked with a guy one time that had fungus on his feet, he lost a bunch of teeth and he told me he could't see very well anymore. He always said "i'm falling apart". well his mind was ok so I figured that's most of the battle. Anyway it's my job to hug all the old ladies. A nice smile is what I get paid.

Randy;

  It don't happen that way, first you have "Senior Moments" after that you get to hide them by calling them "Junior Moments". Ask "Shultzie if you don't believe me, he will set it straight. He made up the terms 80 years ago.

It's really hard dealing with these junior guy's. I dont know where they got thier independence but it was definatly a mistake. Some things are just hard to change,just ask Hillary.

  So what if Leo left his Cameras in Richards car and his pictures and blanket in my car.  He still out flew all of us at the field!
  Senior moment, not Leo, he is just leading us all on.
