The Centennial of Armistice Day 1918 to 2018
« on: November 11, 2018, 05:02:18 AM »
Thanks for your service to all of our fellow veterans on this 100th commemoration of the cease fire of the Great War.  In particular:

Captain Eddie Richenbacker, out top fighter ace, 26 confirmed (and several others, unconfirmed due to the more strict standards of the day), winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor.

General JJ "Black Jack" Pershing, who saved hundreds of thousands (maybe even a million) American lives with his more cautious combat tactics.

Colonel George Patton who was already a tank commander in the first war.

Presidents Truman and Eisenhower, both WWI vets.

Six million others who I can't recall at the moment.
