Sitting in an attic in Arizona probably didn't help either.

Last saw that bird in Olathe 1968.  It looked better then.

Looks complete, was it stored in AZ since....?

I think that is the same bird Tom Lay had at VSC a few years ago to show off.   It was in bad shape. H^^

OK, a garage in Reseda. Same idea. It was a cool plane. Tom send me some pictures of it when it was new back with I had considered building one. Neat plane.

The A.A.E. flies pretty good also.

I believe this is a russeeum picture taken at VSC several years ago.

It is interesting to look at the old plane but check the wingtip on the plane beside it, Scotch Tape!!

Actually as strange as it may sound, we trim our pylon racers with quarters, held on by clear tape. This at 195 mph! Quarters happen to be the same approximate weight as the stickers you use to designate which lane you are flying in. SO a quarter balances the plane when you change lane stickers. At least that way, after a mid air collision, you know the scrap balsa is at least worth 25 cents!
For years the rat race had me going around in circles, Now I do it for fun!
