Title: Seattle
Post by: john e. holliday on January 11, 2014, 07:47:10 AM
Bet these scenes don't look like this this day and time.   I know it is not model planes, but do you ever go by these areas on the way to the flying circle?  When I was still an employee of the phone company, a co-worker would pull up pictures of the early days of the Kansas City,  Missouri/Kansas area.

I live about an hour away, depending on traffic.

Here's something what Alaska way looks like, some of those old buildings are still there.

And the tunneling machine Bertha who is working on replacing the viaducts.

Have they yet looked at the boulder that Bertha bumped?  Last I heard they knew they'd hit something and they were trying to figure out how to get in front of the thing to take a look.

I didn't hear about a boulder, but I did hear Bertha hit a steel pipe that stopped her.

Huh?... In those days JCT must have stood for Jive Commuter Train?
