Just last night I talked the family of Richard "Pete" Peterson....that my mentor and  LONG TIME BOEING WIND TUNNEL MODEL DESIGN LEAD ENGINEER brother in balsa & kevlar dust has passed this life at the young tender age of----------- 87!

His knowledge of model design engineering is truly legendary. With his constant help and insight he consistantly helped so many of us Boeing force & flutter model builders get through some pretty amazingly challenging wind tunnel model projects...
He joined Boeing as a model design and model maker waaaay back in 1950 and retired in 1984 to finally enjoy the years..climbing mountains...playing a mean game of golf...photography...prospecting for gold and other goodies, playing with toy airplanes (Check out His (favorite "Pea Shooter") in the toon and last but not least his keen sence of humor in messing with our heads with his strange choices for leadership of our nation..."BONZO AND BUSH "84"  n1

PETE!
YOU WILL BE SORELY MISSED...until we meet again, between the earth and sky, pehaps in where the angels dare to fly.
