Stunt Grunt age missing on profiles
« on: February 27, 2007, 11:52:49 AM »
I have noticed that on most of the profiles that I have looked at the one thing that is missing is the guys AGE. I wonder if there is some reason for this or is it just a coincidence that this has happened. I thought that not telling your age was a girl thing. Has anyone got an explanation about this phanonomon( probably spelled wrong).

Sorry Mel...actually I am 68 going on 168!
However as you may know...
Mr. Huff passed away a short time  (maybe 5 years or so?)after Tim Dunlop passed away. That center photo was taken in 1971 at one of our contests..where we presented a plaque honoring  Charley for all his years of self less dedication.

Oops, I forgot to look at my own profile which does not have my age either so now I can tell you I am older than dirt. That would be 74.

Happy Birthday, Sparky!!!

While I'm pretty young for this group at just 50, at work they think I was around when the earth cooled.

Leo, Shultzie;

My Dad used to tell me that time is not a comodity, it is a gift given to everyone to use as they choose. Just remember that it only goes by once so use it wisely for you can't do it over. It also leaves something behind it is called a memmory, may they all be good ones.

I probably misquoted some of that but you get the general idea. After seeing and enjoying your posts I really see what he was trying to say. You guys, according to what my Dad said have done well. Thank-you for sharing it all with the rest of us. Each day is a new experience here, may it never end.

Thank-you again;

Just need a Hay Fork an a Shotgun buddy.  Kind of reminds me of some of those older folks in Eastern Montana. Most of them Scanahovians.

Randy, Iwish iwas 20 years younger and know what I know now!  Robert has a right to look only 45. Just like I have a right to look 74. Granted he looks better than a 75 year old but thats the breaks. Shultzie actually looks like he is only 45. I think all that epoxy paint preserved him.

I have a friend that has had to have a pacemaker put in to keep his heart going at the right pace right(whats New). so I asked him how long those batteries lasted in that thing and he said from 7 to12 years so I told him if they planted som solar cells in that bald spot on topp of his head they would probably last longer. Do you want me to sign you up?

Ya- I know if you don't use it you loose it and most of it has already gone down the drain. Like my wife says "your six pack has turned into a keg without a handle."

How did you know one of my favorite comedians was Rodger Dangerfield. I love that guy. You are still pretty young. and  I hate to tell you that @#$% will start to happen as we get to the 60 mark and beyond but if you were healthy most of your life that helps. If you are anything like your dad you will live a long and enjoyable life. He Is one of my heros. #^ #^ #^ #^ #^ #^ #^ #^ #^ ;D

  Leo,  how did you happen to invent Dirt, when I didn't, but do have a sample jar full of the first batch created??  I got my sample from the Silver Foxx  (mr Lew Woolard (85)) who (I am told) really invented it.  All of you guys are a bunch of young whipper snappers.

I now know I am Getting Older because I don't have the patience. eye site, stamina and strength I used to. so far my mind has remained sharp and that is where the stubourness comes from. As for Lew and a few others of us who have made it well past the 70 year mark I know we are all grateful. It's a Good Life. %^@ %^@ %^@

I am also a Bike rider,I rode from Portland Or. to Minneapolis when I was 61 years old. I now ride by time and not miles. I will go out and ride for 2 or three hours. As you know once you get used to riding it's hard to stop. Keep it up my friend. I used to ride to the coast about 3 or 4 times a year. Thats 95 miles. #^ #^ #^ #^ #^ HB~>Also rode out to Delta park which is about ten miles this week. Not quit as active as I once was. I used to ride about 5000 miles a year 1200 of it was to work and back. Glade thats over!
