Old Guy downsizing models
« on: May 02, 2016, 12:08:34 PM »
I have decided to fly smaller models as this old guy is not as steady on his feet as he used to be(I call it old fart syndrome) From now on it will be 25 sized planes as I seeeeeeeem to handle them better and they don't take as much wood or technical skill to build them and I can save a lot of cash because they don't need  a bunch of dope to finish. I just love being a senior citizen! HB~> HB~> HB~> LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~

When do I get my plans of the down sized Arctic Fox.    LL~ LL~  Now you know why I'm collecting .25 size engines.   But is a twin with 2 25 size engines defeating the purpose? H^^

What's this "Old Guy" nonsense?  You are not so old, and I'm catching up on you.

Check Out P 10 of this ; http://sticksandtissue.yolasite.com/resources/2013/ST80.pdf

Reckon a FSR 25'd do it nicely , the wings held on with wubber bands , so you can take it on your bicycle & save petrol .  %^@ LL~

cowl Split line lets you turn it into a Ha 1109 or whatever they were in the Battle of Britain film . Theres a Humbrol purple or Azure that matches HIS plane  , Batlio , i think .

got the magazine at home , but youve got it THERE , Now ! . ;)

Was a series in the Aeromodellor Mag. on the CATBIRD on P 7 too , inc. a twin fuse ( & engine ) one , from back in the 50s 9 54 - 58 / )so O.T.S. eligable ?? Duval Windsreens the bees knees , :)

Drawings round for them , being stingey they dont use a lot of wood , so theyre light .  S?P H^^

OS 20 in it .

Think this had a Fox 35 , buts a little smaller than the usual .
