I have posted this photo a long time ago from an old neg and thought I would try a rescan.
Bob Welch (shown on left and Dill on the right) about a month before the Albany contest shown here...had a knockdown dragggggout Chipmunk building contest.

The paint fumes were still comin off these models...when I shot this photo.
It looks like our friend Leo Mehl is in one heck of a hurry to get away from either the smell of fresh drying dope or the dope who was taking this photo at the time.
