El Blasto photo in M.A.N many years ago
« on: March 01, 2021, 12:34:25 PM »
I no longer have all my magazines. Long ago, M.A.N., I think, published a photo of a modeller, holding up his latest plane, a stunt model with a Dynajet on it. The name, proudly displayed on the wing, was "El Blasto". I don't know if that was the name of the plane, or the identity of the pilot.  I think it was in the control line column.

Does anyone remember it? Can anyone post the photo?

Back in the late 50's there was a kit being advertised for Dyna-Jet power.  A local flyer in KC area built it and flew it the old Blue Springs mall.  They wouldn't let him put up a second flight as the windows in the stores looked like they were going fail.
