A SECTION FOR OLD PHOTOS WOULD BE AWESOME!
"Send you a CD..."Tell me about it?"My computer skills are more than just "barely legal" and even worse, is that my Dell-Hell Dimension E-310 puter' has virtually no or little memory left...(kinda like me:)
plus, I spend waaaay to much time deleting and cleaning for more disc space.
Recently, I have tried storing many of these old photos on Webshots and My Photoworks...or just posting them on stunthanger.
The trouble so far with these cyberspace photo storage web sites is that when I try to download photo that I have scanned onto the sites and then attempt to try and forward the ones I had previously posted,
I keep getting all kinds of various error messages. "NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME" is the most popular one, leaving me with the feeling that I am FOREVER exiled waaaay out there in a GALEXY FAR AWAY.
Bottom line:
I have been consistantly urged by everyone so far...that I simply need an external hard-drive and maybe a better scanner, or a Digital camera, a new stunt model and a BRAIN TRANSPLANT?
Photo scan size? I try to keep my SLIDE scan size to no larger than 150* or less than 98* and even at 75* before images begin to fuzzz-away into Margretttaville for posting. The largest scan setting for slides seems to be 300* Anything scanned at higher settings...doesn't fly?
If my pc had enough memory the Epson V-300 booklet hipe says I could actually scan photos up to 4800 dpi n' allthatjazz?
I will try to burn a CD of these slide scans?
Here is one sample scan at 300, next at 98 and the last one at 50 (Dick Williams at the 67 nats pouring hot coffee for the judging staff with the tarmac at about the same temp.
