Post by: RC Storick on March 31, 2009, 07:44:55 AM
If you send me a copy of the CD I will make a section for old photos. I need the CD so I can resize the pics appropriately

A SECTION FOR OLD PHOTOS WOULD BE AWESOME!
"Send you a CD..."Tell me about it?"
My computer skills are more than just "barely legal" and even worse, is that my Dell-Hell Dimension E-310 puter'  has virtually no or little memory left...(kinda like me:)
plus, I spend waaaay to much time deleting and cleaning for more disc space.

Recently, I have tried  storing many of these old photos on Webshots and My Photoworks...or just posting them on stunthanger.
The trouble so far with these cyberspace photo storage web sites is that when I try to download photo that I have scanned onto the sites and then attempt to try and forward the  ones I had previously posted,
I keep getting all kinds of various error messages. "NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME" is the most popular one, leaving me with the feeling that I am FOREVER exiled waaaay out there in a GALEXY FAR AWAY. HB~> n~
Bottom line:
I have been consistantly urged by everyone so far...that I simply need an external hard-drive and maybe a better scanner, or a Digital camera, a new stunt model and a BRAIN TRANSPLANT? R%%%% ~^
Photo scan size? I try to keep my SLIDE scan size to no larger than 150* or less than 98* and even at 75* before images begin to fuzzz-away into Margretttaville for posting. The largest scan setting for slides seems to be 300* Anything scanned at higher settings...doesn't fly?
If my pc had enough memory the Epson V-300 booklet hipe says I could actually scan photos up to 4800 dpi n' allthatjazz?

I will try to burn a CD of these slide scans?
Here is one sample scan at 300, next at 98 and the last one at 50  (Dick Williams at the 67 nats pouring hot coffee for the judging staff with the tarmac at about the same temp.  :)

Strange???
After checking the photos on stunt hanger..
The first scan setting of 300 ended up on SH at 371.37?
the next one at 98...ended at 61.1
and the last 50 size displayed at 44.5 setting?

Hummm?
Bottom line...I don't know what the VD~ VD~ I am doing? n~ LL~

What Dick Willaims may not know is sailors drink coffee all the time, anywhere at any ambient temps. He  did them a favor, not teased them. I am having my fourth cup now.  H^^ D>K D>K D>K D>K

Thanks Ty...but you can see what happens to this old Shultzie after my Starbucks java-jive hit this morn. (anychance of reposting that story about your daughter?)
(just maybe it was last nights one too many Miller light brewskies at the TIDES eatery here in the Gig!  LL~

Donnie,

You were eating at THE TIDES! We'll, that explains a lot. Did you stop off at the Bethel Tavern, too?
