I don't know Bob personally....but over the years have seen some pretty amazingly beautiful stunt models of his and after surfing yesterday on Elwyn's great website gallery....I JUST HAVE TO UP LIFT THIS MOST ACCOMPLISHED ARTIST OF THE STUNT CIRCLE!
These models are "paus-a-lutely- absotivleeee' AWESOME in construction and finish.
Take a look at these attached photos...

Anyone who know BOB ENGLISH....TELL US MORE ABOUT THIS GIFTED STUNT GRUNT OF THE DAY????

I've known Bob for almost 20 years now.  He is a true artist of the stunt circle.  His planes only tell part of the story.  The plans he has drawn are equal to anything anyone has done - Steve Buso quality.  He has also made some museum quality static ship models, a la Cutty Sark (10,000 knots anyone?).  Although his current modeling activities favor the more relaxed pursuit of old time S.A.M. R/C flying  he still shows up around contest time to help out, judge, or just to visit.  One of the greats!

I wish I had a pic of his twin to post here. HB~>  It might have been on a SN cover.

Bob is a h#ll of a nice guy, an awesome builder, and darn fine stunt judge. I've missed him lately 'cause he just hasn't been around much.

I flew with Bob back in the late 60's and early 70's.  I even launched that Quasar a few times.  Sorry to here that Bob isn't doing Stunt that much any more.  I hope his health is doing well!  Also, Mike and I used to stop by Bob's house in Fairfield on the way to contest in Santa Rosa and Napa.
