Shultzie,

I think that that USA-1 is actually Jerry Worth's Apterix (or NASA-1).  USA-1 is not on the wing, plus the cowling is of a slightly different shape (I've been looking at too many pictures of the great ole USA-1).  H^^

Built light, the USA-1 is one of the best flying planes I've owned. Really nice in less than perfect conditions.

THANKS MATT for correcting my brain oldfart...See what happens when your brain is on drugs or dope fumes? LL~ H^^

I HAVE SLIDES OF JERRY'S THAT I SHOT OF JERRY WORTH'S MODELS OPPS...CHECK THE AMA NUMBER, PROVES ME VERY WRONG...HUH?
Over the years....I have given away soooooooooo many of my old slides and I truly miss so many of them...especially Jerry Worth's beautiful CLPA models and even more....his truly hauntingly beautiful scale models. I shot almost a full roll of Kodachome 10 on Jerry Worth's models alone.

Check the trim stripes and the ama #s....that tell the TRUFFFFFFFFFFF! n~
