Title: Which engine for the Nobler ARF?
Post by: Mark Mc on September 21, 2016, 03:37:58 AM
Just thinking ahead and getting my ducks in a row for my Nobler AFR build after the flying season is over.  I have a .40FP and a .46LA-S.  Which one for the Nobler?

 The .46  - better control / more power !

The FP should work fine; the 46LA is way more engine than you need, but it's easy to tone down for a Noblarf.  I'd put in the 46 if you're not going to have a bigger plane for a while, and the FP if you have some 600 square inch thing lurking in the background.

40FP with APC 10.5x4.5 is what I would choose between the two.
The new Enya SS30EX ABC with APC 10.5x4.5 would be my definite choice.
