HI
Just wondering how people are mounting there battery,I wanted to make a mount tray
but there is little room in the battery compartment, I am thinking velcro may be the only way
thanks.

I ran a Velcro battery strap thingy with a buckle on it through the side slot, under the plywood, and up the other side. It’s a PITA to get fingers on it when the battery is in, you learn to plan ahead rather quickly.
I have seen the light, and it’s powered by a lipo.

I was the originator of the side load battery too - now on the SV-11 etc.   I did it on my thunderjugs in about 2010 - nice to be copied hahaah
