Got an email from Randy last night telling me that BRODAK has shipped my ARFs. Thanks for the update Randy. Christmas came early this year. Yeaaaa!

Doug
sorry brother but Xmas was 25 day ago
I personally got my SV-11 plenty of days in advance so wife could put in under our tree
BUT I do hear you... getting the new toy...no matter when it arrived is a jazzed time
And so much better when you open the very substantial box to find a well crafted and mostly wrinkle free ARF kit
I am assuming you got the electric versions that were delayed for the printing of new(er) instructions
Very much looking forward to better WX and the shop time to put mine together
Meanwhile a bit disappointed on the number of threads here on the various ARF builds.... I prefer to learn from others experience

No I have ICs coming. Two SV-11 and one Vector. They are in Chicago today. It will take a while to cross into Canada. I didn't think there was much wrong with the previous production run. But topically I change a few things. Mostly personal preference.

My Vector IC ARF arrived today. It’s beautiful and well thought out. The bell crank rod with C-clips is a great idea. The only change I will make is to use Tom Morris dog leg horns.
My SV-11s seem to be tied up in customs in Ontario.
Cheers. 🍻

So, if my metric to ounce conversion muscle is working, is your Vector ARF is around 22oz before the tank, wheels, gear and engine?

Your correct 21.64 oz. my point was it is less then the old Vector. An improvement.
In fact 26oz - 22 oz = 4 oz lighter. That's impressive.
Based on my old Vector, PA-40 and pipe at 50 oz the new one should be 46 oz.
