Is it ready to fly or still in pieces? If in pieces, change the leadouts—there have been too many reports of the crimped leadouts breaking, despite the fact that the method is in the AMA rule book.
If ready to fly, fly it and fix the leadouts if it becomes pieces.
What engine are you planning to use? FPs and LAs are a bit long for the engine bay and you must use a spinner with a cupped backplate—like Dubro—to achieve a reasonable spinner–nose ring fit. I've seen one with a needle nose spinner that had a 1/8" thick nose ring added but no attempt to fair it in. It looked silly.
Brodak 40 is a bit shorter and can be fitted back far enough to suit a flat backplate spinner of any style.
The spinner–nose ring fit on my ARCs is not too flash so I've fitted 1/8" liteply nose rings and will fair the rest of the nose into the Brodak spinners to give a smooth transition. Mine are ARCs and that option is not really available with the ARF unles you want to rework the nose.
