Well the ARF is getting closer to Ready to Fly. I think I started it almost 2 years ago. Got a nice LA .46 waiting for it.
Some of the "improvements" are :
        Extra balsa tripler on inboard side of nose with ply plate to keep engine mount nuts / washers from sinking in
        Carbon fiber tube bushings for the gear and motor mount bolts.
        New CLC Bellcrank / leadouts with additional upper and lower pivot pin retaining plates for a solid mount
        New carbon fiber push rods with HD ball links and CLC flap horn and adjustable elevator horn,
        Stab and rudder joints reinforced with dowel pin.
        Flap and elevator hinges are Great Planes med pinned hinges, epoxied in and pinned with a toothpick.

Attached pic shows hinges with toothpick pins before trimming, and you can see front end mods.
