Charles, I think that the blue is the original covering.  The rest may be painted.  I made the same mistake on mine but added them later.  The problem with adding adjustable is the rib cutouts in front of the spar are too small.  I had to make a long sandpaper dowel and hollow mine out.  Worth it though.

Mike did a great job, I really like his "black" canopy, excellent choice.

I thought I read Mike removed the covering and used Polyspan?

I have Nobler time.  ;D

Hello

The fuselage was stripped back and is covered in JapTissue and Nitrate dope (can't really get Butrate dope in UK).
It's tissue over Mylar on the openings in the fuse.

The wings are all Polyspan and Nitrate.

After that it's all Klasskote and markings created using templates/masks on a Cricut vinyl cutter.  Lol, it's a bit rougher close up.  Still learning he black arts of spraying!

I put a weight box under outer wing but decided just to go with the regular tips.

Indeed the colour scheme is inspired by the post war Corsairs at Olathe.  One of my favourite planes :)

Cheers
