Really, isn't there other props that work just as well or better.

Well, I would hope so, but the TT 11 x 4.5 worked so well on my Magnum XLS .36 that I always went back to it. I experimented with TF Power Point 11 x 4 and MA S-2 11 x 4 and neither worked for me. I suspect the MA S-2 11 x 5 might have worked, or an APC 11 x 4 or 10.5 x 4.5 might have worked, but I didn't try them. The TT worked real well for Pete Peterson's B.40 powered "Venus", but it took 10% nitro and the big .305" venturi to swing it. Randy Powell uses them sometimes on his PA .40UL.
Interestingly, I had slightly "buzzed" one of my TT 11 x 4.5 props, so trimmed it to 10.75" and left the tips squared. I found it would not rev nearly as high as the same prop had when stock, so I realized that the sharp prop tip was rather critical. Pay attention to the details; Thunder Tiger did. Their 10.5 x 5 works well on the OS .35S, and the 12.5 x 5 works real well on a ST G.51, too. It would be great to get Thunder Tiger engines and props back into the USA.
