Title: The World Models ARF, RAMBLER 45
Post by: Doug Burright on June 28, 2014, 01:32:36 AM
This plane arrived in my hangar almost 2 years ago, as payment for helping in the HS one day. One plus... It has some purple trim colors. Another...factory installed RETRACTABLE main LG. I opened it this week, and decided it will be powered with a ST GS .40, china made it.

You are right, it is an R/C model.

Pictures to follow... if this isn't too lame- already

Put a two line bell crank in it and use one of the new radios to control throttle, landing gear and what ever else you can think of.

...Hey Doug, Go for it!  ...Conversions are always fun, and challenging. I've got a P-51 in bare bones right now.

It looks like the correct leadout position is above the wing, so the BC can just go into the fuselage.  If you use a Mortimer fly-by-wire, you can have either RC or CL!
