Weights are as follows for ARF T -Rex that arrived today. Weighed on Digital Scale.  TOTAL=38.2

Elevators --   .9
Stab------   2.2
Rudder----     .4
LG--------    1.0
LG Fairings      .4
Tires/Tail wh   .9                 VERY NICE ULTRAKOTE COVERING!!!!!!
Flaps------   1.3
Wing w/bc- 12.8
Fuse/cowl-  13.0
Ply Firewwall-  .6
Motor Mounts 3.1

That is 36.6 oz.

With PA 65, header, pipe, prop, and Sullivan tank Doug and I use 22 oz with spinner (there is no spinner 20 oz).  So, even with a PIPE SETUP and 1.5 oz of tipweight, this guy is right at 60 oz or less.

Wing with bellcrank covered 12.8 oz plus 1.3 for flaps (3/4 oz each is typical so these are good).  Covered.  Not bare.  Covered.  14.1 oz/ 675 sq inches.

YESSSSSSSIIIIIIIRRRRRR!!!!

The stab is little heavy but I originally had the stab lighter as it was open bay construction, but no two looked the same as it is so large.  They were not flat and the weights were all over the place.  The sheeted ones are flat as a board, stiff as oak, and right at 2.5 oz.  So, opted for a little weight there for consistency.

I re did the weight chart.

If I add my own motor mounts which weigh 1.6 it comes to 35 oz.

add the following:
1. horns /pushrods   1 oz
2. C/F Spinner  2"    .7
3. CF  Prop Eather   .8
4. Clunk tank         1.8
5. Tip weight         1.5                            + Saito .62 w muffler        16.2= 58.4
6. misc                 1.0+  35.4 +6.8=  42.2  + Stalker .66 Re w muffler 12.9= 55.1  !!!
                                                           + Discovery Retro w Muffler12.5= 54.7
                                                           + Stalker .76 Se w muffler 15.2=   57.4

Hi Brad,
Nice call there, and if they stay at 2.5 oz that'll be a great weight for that component. Better stiff and flat and less than 3 oz than flimsy and warped at anything less!
