I should be on your per-order list for a ARF SV-11
When you can, I bet a lot of us would appreciate an update on the various finish schemes of the newer versions of the ARF

It's almost that time... yay!

Is it soup yet? !

On the ship heading this way. I will post when they are unloaded

The kits are on the container on the ship steaming here now, They did not ship on time, but they have left China, about a week or so , and are on the way here now, I do not like the delays, but had no control over that, so i am sorry for your long wait
I will post when they arrive,

Are these coming to you or Brodaks? Thinking about 2 ARC's. Have the control line crimp issues been worked out or do they need taken care of first? And how much are they.
Thanks
Rick

Hi Rick
The SV11
SV-11 ARC…. 189.99
SV-11 ARF…. 199.99
As I said earlier they were delayed again but have been shipped, and I look for them in a few weeks to be in the States
I will have ARFs in both places, here and at Brodaks that will ship from there first
The prototypes I got, and checked/trouble shoot , are the est ARFs I have seen and the controls are much better and are HD controls, so I think people will be pleased, I will try to post pictures as soon as these come in
Regards

Interested in ARF SV11. How much shipped to Spain, Randy???
Kind regards.
-
Randy on this next shipment are you expecting better quality on the film covering, on both the material and application ?
-
Allen
I am sure Randy will answer....but my understanding one or more evaluation versions early this year were sent to Brodak--- and I think Dennis A did a brief review on the e powered version... sounds like most concerns from previous version were addressed
Sounded like better glues, better covering, much improve controls
Most of that is my take away reading between the lines....sorry I can not find the review
BUT it was positive enough for me to add the $200 to my budget to get an ARF SV-11
only $10 more than the ARC....worst case remove and recover if it sux

Hi Allan yes covering , build quality, controls, all are better, I have 2 prototypes here and they are much improved over the old company, But they are not custom built stunter, they are higher quality ARFs and ARCs

This new ARFs are made with wings in 2 halves so they can be shipped easier, BUT I will need to get them in before we can get a price and size, so I will tell you as soon as they get here

Haven't you guys heard that the more you rush something the longer it takes. Besides the ship captain knows you are in a hurry and taking a longer route. LL~ LL~ LL~

What size AX you have there ?

What size AX you have there ?
Hi Allan-
It is the .46. If i need more grunt, the .55 will bolt on in place of it. I don't think there is much weight difference, and the mounting patterns are the same.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi all. Do you use the AX with stock timing or tuned for stunt?
Kind regards.
Manuel Cortes.

I haven't run the AX in a plane yet. But based on Randy Cuberly's experience/advice, I think it will be great, at least running in a 2-2-2 with a lower pitch prop like a 12x4 or 13x4.
If it is a mess, then I can always sell it to an RC guy, they are fairly popular.
If it works out, I'll sell the brand new RC carb and muffler, and buy another one.
Might try the smaller AX.35 as well, although I am not sure why the AX.46 is $149, and the AX.35 is $169 (?!).
Must be the new math at OS.
Kind Regards as well,
Target

Fred-
You got your package on a Sunday? I'm impressed.
Nothing here yet, but I'm about as far West as i can be on the mainland. Lol.

Bite my tongue, I have been told that there is a pristine box at home tonight!
Yay!

What kind of tank are you guys going to put into the SV-11?
-
What kind of tank are you guys going to put into the SV-11?
Most people use a Metal Magnum Tank, other use a Plastic tank plumbed uniflow
Randy
-
I am too dense to know how to read Rand'y response
I sport fly and do not care if I can complete a full pattern
Other than a run away or flame out I am not really very concerned with upright vs inverted speeds ...but I have adjusted tank height to get rid of gross changes
I have a Randy Smith Magnum .52 for the new ARF SV-11
Box is wrapped under the Tree and I saw the box label had a Brodak Tank number recommended
I have had bad luck with Brodak tanks and prefer the GRW tanks I get from RSM
I also have a few Hays long thin 4oz on hand
I realize most who would answer ....especially for what this Stunt Plane is used for, will suggest 5~6 up to 7 oz tanks
But for the Magnum .52 SV-11 what are opinions on various tanks, that will fit? ... Muffler pressure, uniflo, standard, ATF... ease of install and adjusting
To date I have 7 flyable airplanes and each was set up based on forum suggestions and 100% worked first time without any/much grief
I know Randy is not a fan of muffler pressure but so far with the OS engines it works fine for me
Thoughts...opinions
-
Get a 6 oz tank, unilflow, the GRW tank is OK, if you like those, then go with it. I would still recommend NOT using Pressure, anything that goes wrong Pressure normally makes it worse, plus it makes the motor run DUMB , and delays the motor cycling.
You should have no problem with the run length of the 6 ounce tank

In a legacy w/magnum 52 I use a 6oz. clunk tank with no pressure in her I can get a full pattern plus 10 laps or so on 5 oz.
