A couple more weeks and it will be ready for trim flights. It will have a RO Jett 76 with header pipe. I made the popular mods for this ARC, and is going together well. The flaps look a lot better this time around. Hopefully I can get by without making new flaps. My first Strega Arc I should have made new flaps, but enough work prevented from having to do that.

Looks good John. What tank are you going to use?
-
I will use a Brodak 6.5 oz tank atf. With my first arf Im getting by with a little less than 6 oz for the pattern but have only timed a few flights. A full tank gives me slight overrun including a quick start with only bumping the spinner. No time wasted starting the 76. Brodak 2 inch alluminum spinner, 14x5 carbon prop. My first Arc weighed 72 ounces, but have not weighed any parts on this new one yet.

Now that the Nats are done, I am getting some work done on my strega arc.
Flaps seemed ok, nice firm wood.
I modified the belly pan to take a fuselage mounted LG

John I hope that is an optical illusion in a couple of the pictures. The stab looks crooked compared to the wing. Otherwise it looks great.
Mike it looks like yours is going to be another winner.
Have fun, DOC Holliday

The stab looks like it was just put on for the picture. Given that the rudder is laying alongside the plane in the 1st picture. At least it seem to be so to me.
