Skyray Balance Point
« on: September 16, 2018, 06:06:36 PM »
One of our club members gave me Sig ARF Skyray.  Since I do not have the instructions, I need to know what is the balance point  for trimming.  Any help appreciated.

Best regards,

Brew

The plans I have give a range from the front edge of the spar to the back edge.  I'd just put it smack in the middle.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

   There's such a thing as a Skyray ARF? I didn't know that.

Balance it about 1" or so behind the LE.
