Here are a couple of pictures of the electric P-40B as I go through the assembly process. I have it just "dry-fit" together so as to see how it looks. I had an RSM .35-.40 glow equivalent system on it. Hoping to fly this down on the lake in front of my home this Winter. Also to get out to some stealth spots near my home as our club has limited field time of late.
Real nice kit. Covering is tight and all looks straight. Will replace pushrods but other than that I'll slap it together as is.

It is hinged so you can set it how you like.

Nice option .... mine is an older P-40 and its rigid.

Man! Kinda makes me wish I'd gotten one of those instead of the electric ARF Ringmaster.

Shug;
How do the lead out ends look to you?

They are crimped and looked OK but I wrapped them with copper wire just to look better. Time will tell as in all ARFs.....

That is a nice looking airplane. Looks like the battery tucks into the inboard side of the fuselage?

Yessir and centrifical force will help it stay lodged.

Hi Shug:
A very timely post as my buddy just bought one of these planes from Brodak along with all of the gear. He is wanting to get into electric flight and thought this would be the way to go. Yes, the kit looks very good!
Keep us posted with your progress.
Have a great 16,

That'd the idea! Should also mention the battery is low in the fuselage - in line with the wing. This should help the vertical CG of the low wing layout.

I added some ink lines....as a first foray into inking. Used a IDenti Pen.
Did not put a bunch of time into planning it. Learned a great deal doing it though.
