I am glad to see that your E-Vector is moving forward.  I agree with your thoughts on Mica film.  It looks great and adds a tremendous amount of strength.

We are currently flying an ARF Brodak Vector using the same Brodak SC motor and battery that I use in the E-Oriental.  It flies great with that power system using the 10 x 5 prop and 63' lines.  I feel it would be better to go to a 4S 2500 and 1000-1100 Kv motor to lighten up the system and use an 11 x 5.5 prop.  The Vector really likes to fly @ 5.0-5.2sec/lap on the 63' lines.

I look forward to hearing your results with the Scorpion motor & 3S battery.  I was very impressed with the power and quality of Crist's Scorpion motor in his barnstormer.  After seeing the motor in person, I understand why they are a great choice of quality ECL motor.

My Uncle Dennis' Swinger used a Rim-Fire 35-36-1200 and a 4S Flight Power 2500 pack on 61' lines @ a 5.1 lap time.  His flight used only 1800 Mah for the pattern which includes 20 laps after the pattern (6:00 timer).  The E-Oriental 3S for the entire pattern on 63' with the Hublin timer uses 2400 mah @ 5.3sec/lap.  On 60' lines & the same 5.3 lap time on the Oriental only uses 1800 mah.  My timer is set for 5:35 which gives me 4-6 laps after the clover.
