Post by: Chris Belcher on April 27, 2014, 05:58:35 AM
instructions say add 1 oz of tip weight...isn't there already tip weight from the factory? Am I supposed to add more. I built an adj. box.

I didn't add any to mine.  Go read Paul Walkers column in Stunt News on setting up a control line stunt plane for flying.   He even has a flow chart included in the article.   Of course you have to be a member of PAMPA or know someone who is a member to get you on the site.   As I'm now down loading past Stunt News from the site, I may opt for the basic membership fee and make my own discs.  The wife looks at me funny when I take the lap top with a disc to the throne room. The ARF Nobler has a box full of lead bird shot glued to the top of the outboard wing.  You can usually see it under the covering and hear the lead rattle when you shake the wing.  Removing the weight is a pain, they tried to fill the box of shot with glue on both of mine, which didn't help the rattle, only made it a pain to remove the shot.
