Title: Nobler CG, Prop
Post by: Howard Rush on November 18, 2011, 09:18:30 AM
A guy here in town has an ARF Nobler with an LA .40 on it.  He asks where the CG should be and what prop to use.

Thanks.

Go with an 11-4 or 11-5 prop.   Balance at high point of the wing next to the fuse.   Make first flight a little nose heavy if in doubt and balance according to how it flies.   I had to add lead to tail of my ARF Nobler when I put the EVO .36 on it.  No cowl as I wanted to be able to get to the engine.    H^^

The 11-4.5 Thunder Tiger Cyclone prop is an excellent prop for the .40LA. Available cheap from Tower, at $2 each if you buy the bag of 6.  y1 Steve
