I bought a piece of tubing small enough to fit down through the wing tip to the bell crank area.  Another is use a piece of music wire and ca the cable to the wire and pull it through.    If you haven't cut the lead out yet,  CA the new cable to the end of the old before pulling it through very carefully.  Many ways of doing it with thought. Best is give plane away and build a new one. LL~ LL~ LL~

I play it dangerously and cut the old leadout at the bellcrank and CA the new leadout to the old leadout. Pull it though and done.  Have been lucky enough on the last couple ARFs that the joint hasn't broke while pulling through.

Hi Fred, I've done it the way Chris Fretz does and its worked for me every time! However attach it to the new bell crank first!
